Not every website is monolingual oriented, it may happen that one has to promote multilingual websites by means of link building. One of the basic resources for foreign link building are national or language-specific directories.
As usual, people abroad are more likely to use their own words for internet terms such as directories. The French-speaking internet community uses the term Annuaire and in the German-speaking areas they prefer to call a directory web catalog or web verzeichnis.
